cultivates and sustains a love of the performing arts in our community while preserving the historic significance of this theatre as

alternative films from all around the world through the Cinematique
Series.
Provide a quality setting
and a wide variety of services in three venues for rent by a broad
spectrum of local performing arts groups, which serve over 75,000
people in the greater Wilmington area.

Jefferson Club
The Joseph Jefferson Club is named for the internationally acclaimed
19th Century actor (1829-1905) who lived in Wilmington in his
youth and played Thalian Hall throughout his career.
The club will be open from 6:00 to 7:30 PM prior to curtain on the following 2006-07 Main Attractions evenings:

On these occasions club members and guests may park conveniently near the theatre and join
their friends for complimentary hors d'oeuvres in the historic original
lobby.
Club members may order champagne, wine, beer or a mixed beverage from our
cash bar located in the old box office, and enjoy refreshments
in the Parquet lobby or outside on the historic Princess Street
portico. If desired, ushers will seat club members as soon as the auditorium is
open ahead of the general seating.
Thalian facts:Of the 40 theatres
and concert halls along the East Coast designed by the architect, John Montague
Trimble, Thalian Hall is the only surviving example left.
