Rental Information

The Historic Thalian Hall recently underwent an extensive renovation with the primary focus on audience comfort and safety. Additionally upgrades were made to the technical aspects of the facility including state-of-the-art sound and lighting equipment and the installation of a hydraulic orchestra pit lift which allows the fowrad section of the pit to be raised to any desired level, including stage deck height which creates a ten foot forestage playing area.

The Main Stage and facilities may be rented for a wide variety of performance and event activities.

Rates vary depending on daily vs. weekly use, rehearsal vs. performance use and private organizations vs. not-for-profit organizations.

Rental does not include Box Office fees, technical labor, piano tuning, or special equipment. THCPA provides ushers, front of house, and concessionaires.

Rental clients must make application to the Facilities Manager or Executive Director at 910-632-2241 in the business office of Thalian Hall Center for the Performing Arts, Inc. or you may use the Main Stage Rental Contact Form.

Rental generally includes the use of the following areas

Main Stage

Seating: Continental Style

Parquet Level - 331

Mezzanine Level - 190

Total = 521

Under special permission and cost, your house size can be increased with the additions of these seating areas
